Overview Collaborates with customers, Information Services, Vendors, peers in the informatics role, and other key stakeholders to develop and execute information technology plans including software applications and hardware related to clinical workflows. Interacts daily with staff to communicate and resolve information technology needs. Acts as advocate for staff relative to clinical IT issues. Provides a key link between medical staff, nursing staff, other clinical users, senior administration, and Information Services. Utilizes knowledge of clinical workflow to provide input into application development, implementation, training and continuous support. This role provides information systems support to achieve the organizations mission of excellent patient care. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree Experience 5 years of one or a combination of the following: Healthcare experience EMR system experience (Epic preferred) Training and Education development Project management Programming/coding Must have knowledge of and experience using software applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
