Clinical Informatics Supervisor, Acute Care - San Diego

This is a Full-Time position (80 hours per pay period), with an 8-hour DAY shift schedule, Monday through Friday. This position will be partially remote and must reside within San Diego area. As a Clinical Informatics Supervisor, you will;

Utilizes operations and/or clinical knowledge to consult with the business to identify workflow, data and application requirements. Works with integrated development resources to generate documentation and facilitate solution designs, ensuring solution meets customer needs. Facilitates identification of best practices and makes recommendations for standardization. Assists in establishing education strategies for staff and physicians. May build and maintain clinical applications. Provides operations management support to department leadership, including timekeeping and quality control/reporting. Contributes to performance evaluations and hiring decisions.The supervisor will oversee 5 clinical informatics nurses that support acute care sites and care lines across Scripps.

Two years of nursing experience or medical informatics. Good critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and presentation skillsCurrent CA RN license or graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree specific to applications supported.

Preferred:

Lead small projects or technical activities.Informatics certification. Bachelor's degree.

Required:
