*The University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) is currently seeking a full-time faculty-Clinical Instructor or Assistant Professor at the _Universities at Shady Grove_ in Rockville, MD.* UMSON enrolls more than 2,000 students in its baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral programs. UMSON is part of the University of Maryland graduate professional campus that also includes the schools of medicine, dentistry, law, pharmacy, and social work. Its location in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., Annapolis triangle maximizes opportunities for collaboration with government agencies, health care institutions, and life science industries. *Essential Functions**:* This position is responsible for teaching courses focused on care of the adult patient and achieving positive program outcomes and course objectives in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, entry to practice Master’s degree program, and/or RN to BSN program. *Primary Responsibilities:* Provides classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction for nursing students (BSN, MSN generalist, RN to BSN). Evaluates students and participates in curricular adjustments and modifications for entry into practice and RN to BSN students. Participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of simulations and clinical experiences relative to courses taught.
