Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring an experienced Clinical Lab Assistant-Phlebotomist to work full-time days at various doctors offices (IOP).

Job responsibility is to perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Collects, labels, and processes patient
specimens for testing; responsible for registration and test data entry. Monitors supply levels. Operates and maintains laboratory equipment; responsible for both internal and external customer inquiry and problem resolution. Frequent
interaction with hospital and physician offices staff. May perform EKG and operate glucometer.

Job requirements:

High school education or equivalentCompletion of a Phlebotomy course (preferred)1 year of phlebotomy experience.
