Responsibilities include performing routine laboratory tests and may include some technically complex assays. The CLS I’s activities include operating and maintaining test equipment, performing, and documenting QC, recognizing, and responding to problems, and verifying and reporting test results. Additional duties include general support functions necessary for the routine operation of the laboratory.
