We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** ABSMC-Summit Campus **Position Overview:** Receives and processes specimens in one or more sections of the laboratory. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION** HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience **PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:** Or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** + Able to operate biologic safety hood, autoclave, microtome, bone saw and centrifuge. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. + Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization. + Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. + Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. + Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral , diagram, or schedule form **Job Shift:** Evenings **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift Hours:** 8 **Days of the Week:** Variable **Weekend Requirements:** Every other Weekend **Benefits:** Yes **Unions:** Yes **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 32 **Employee Status:** Regular Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
