BayCare is currently in search of our newest Clinical Laboratory Scientist Coordinator to join the laboratory team who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care and customer service to the community we serve!
Responsibilities:
Coordinating and leading the daily operations of the laboratory including scheduling and supervisory duties as requiredUses independent judgement to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction Prioritizes, delegates, and oversees all phases of the laboratory processEnsures all established processes, policies, and procedures for the laboratory are followed to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely results are reportedOversees the quality assurance and quality management programs and ensures they are followedFollows up as appropriate with any deviations in the processEnsures ongoing laboratory compliance with all appropriate regulatory organizations and all facility and system wide requirements including monitoring proficiency testingResponsible for laboratory education and training of all team members, including orientation, acting as trainer, ensuring competency documentation, and being a resource and mentorAssists with gathering and monitoring data to achieve laboratory goalsIn the incidence of the manager or supervisors absence, assist with additional duties such as scheduling staffing, attending meetings, etc.Works independently and in a teamUtilize Delegation, preceptor, and management skillsMust have customer service and interpersonal skillsDemonstrates organizational, time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skillsHave knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to positionAdministrative and clerical skillsComputer skills appropriate to positionPerforms other duties as assignedBayCare offers a competitive total reward package including:
