Insure corrected reports are issued ASAP and timely corrective actions are taken and documented. + Utilize information management systems to accession, status, verify, and reject orders. Correctly input test results using the laboratory information system. + Demonstrate the ability to report critical values, STAT results, courtesy notifications, and routine results according to established protocols, insuring turn-around-times are consistently within guidelines and documentation is complete. + Demonstrate the ability to perform and document routine quality control and preventative maintenance according to established protocols assisting staff as needed. + Provide daily leadership. Oversee daily operations of CLT staff to include: the management of workload, providing timely technical assistance to staff and clients, responding to inquiries and complaints, insuring safety compliance, minimizing overtime, etc. + Provide leadership in the instruction and training of employees, post-doctoral fellows, residents, medical students, medical technology students, etc. Recognize ineffectiveness or deficiencies in performance and provides fair and timely feedback to the individual in order to improve performance.
