Who you are:       
Do you love providing exceptional care for animals? Are you an experienced current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or an experienced Senior Veterinary Assistant who can help organize, motivate, coach, and address issues in an open, tactful, and humble manner? Do you meet the initial qualifications below? If so please apply! No previous supervisory experience is needed, we are ready to help the right candidate grow into this position.   
 
About the role:Manage a team of RVTs and Veterinary AssistantsOversee the day-to-day operations of the ER/CCU department, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality careCollaborate with other department managers to optimize patient outcomes and client satisfactionImplement and maintain protocols and procedures to uphold clinical standards and compliance with regulatory requirementsProvide support and guidance to team members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional developmentDemonstrate solid veterinary clinical skills and be a role model for the teamFacilitate direct or indirect training for department staffProvide routine assessment of skill level and knowledgeComplete monthly schedule and ensure adequate coverageManage department payroll and staffing costs, including review and approval of timecardsDeliver results in areas of staff development, best practices (SOPs), training, client satisfaction, and safety The compensation range for this role falls between $30-$45 an hour with additional paid overnight shift differentials.

Basic required qualifications:3+ years of clinical experience in an ER/CCU settingProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent positive and productive communication skills, both verbally and in writing 
Desired qualifications:Current RVT license – preferredPrevious team leadership experience preferredER/CCU specialty experience
Work schedule:Full-time (40 hours)Overnight Shift4/10 Work ScheduleFlexible schedule with the ability to provide mentoring and coaching on all shifts Benefits:
