What you will do in this role:

Interacts clearly and professionally with patients and families, while gathering additional clinical information and past historyConducts thorough patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission into the systemCompletes detailed Pre-Admission Screens, according to facility policies and procedures, policies and procedures, and payer requireEducates specific specialized physicians on quality, programs, accreditations, and regulations on inpatient acute rehabilitationDevelops educational and community relations plans in consultation with Program Director, Medical Director, and Nurse ManagerFunctions as a resource for and provides team members with in-service/cross-training on acute rehabilitation criteria, diagnostic case mix management, coding, etc., as applicableOther duties as assigned
Qualifications

At a minimum, should hold a 2-year degree. A graduate holding a four-year degree from a college program with a bachelor's degree in a health related, business or marketing area of concentration, nursing preferredPrevious marketing/sales experience preferredApplicable and current license to practice in accordance with the state licensure actOther professional licensure considered based on experience and training as outlined in the state licensure actValid drivers license and own reliable transportation requiredA track record of successful experience in a healthcare setting, strong interpersonal skills, and experience working with physicians, nursing management, discharge planners, case manager and social workersClinical experience is preferredStrong interpersonal skillsCommunicate and demonstrate a professional image/attitude for patients, families, clients, coworkers and othersAbility to travel in the community to meet clients/customers
