Clinical Manager

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee nursing staff and operations for our Oncology Center. The successful candidate will ensure that all infusion services are safe, appropriate, and compliant with nursing, regulatory, and accreditation standards. 

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/TRAINING

Candidates should have at least two years of infusion/oncology experience and two years of leadership experience. They must have graduated from an accredited nursing school and hold an active Registered Nurse license in Ohio where the job will be performed. Preferred qualifications include prior experience working with infusions, a BSN degree, and CRNI or other infusion specialization. CPR certification is a plus, provide orientation and continuing education to new staff members, and candidates should have strong patient assessment, venous access, and emergency care skills. They must have experience with flexible work duties and a record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising direct patient care and providing financial and operational oversight in the assigned center. They must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with staff, patients, families, and other agencies. Additional duties include conducting annual performance appraisals, providing accurate documentation related to personnel and HR matters, working closely with other external healthcare professionals, and demonstrating knowledge of organization policies related to patient management and safety.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must be competent in using company email, accessing company websites to view policies and electronic medical records, and using company self-service payroll software. They must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and be able to navigate Internet Explorer. Candidates should also possess basic mathematical and reasoning abilities, as well as physical abilities such as standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
