Position Description
MAJOR FUNCTION:
The clinical Manager for Primary Care, Urgent Care and Occupational Health is responsible for overseeing the daily operations. This role involves managing clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and coordinating activities to meet patient and organizational needs. The clinical Manager will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, pharmacists, and allied healthcare providers, to support Scope of Practice for clinical roles and implement best practices and uphold standards of care while optimizing departmental efficiency. Demonstrate a comprehensive clinical knowledge of respective area assigned and or general Ambulatory Division workflow. Assist (partner) Education department with supporting clinical role competencies that are required annually.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
•High school graduate with graduating LPN program
•Clinical Experience: Minium of 2 years of previous primary care, urgent care experience or related field required.
Certification/ Licensure:
•LPN required.
Knowledge & Skills:
•Must have critical thinking skills and maintain confidentiality.
•Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
•Knowledge of medical terminology and/or behavioral health topics specifically in obstetrics.
•Strong decision making and prioritization skills.
•Ability to work respectfully and professionally with the community, patients, families, and staff.
•Sympathetic, mature, responsible, and reliable.
•Strong patient engagement, interpersonal, and communication skills and ability to establish a therapeutic relationship with the patient.
