They lead staff development and performance improvement activities while fostering an interdisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This role requires a strong commitment to patient experience and promoting positive clinical outcomes. **Key Responsibilities** + Oversees nursing care delivery for assigned units and supervises nursing staff, including staffing, scheduling, and documentation. + Provides direct supervision at the unit level, evaluates staff performance, and generates reports on healthcare delivery. + Monitors safety issues, promotes professional development, and provides individualized patient care. + Builds internal and external customer relationships, fosters multidisciplinary teamwork and collaboration, and recommends creative solutions for organizational improvement. + Submits clear and timely reports, demonstrates knowledge of standards and regulatory requirements, and conducts unit staff meetings with a staff training component. **Qualifications & Requirements** Education + Graduate from an accredited college or university preferred. Experience + A minimum of three experience as a staff Registered Nurse in a psychiatric setting is required + An additional two to three years’ leadership experience preferred.
