Clinical Nurse Coordinator-RN-PCU-CCU
The clinical coordinator functions as a clinical pathway, population-based clinician responsible for promoting patient safety and high-quality patient care through clinical leadership, education, consultation, modeling, and research. The clinical coordinator incorporates evidence-based practice, theory, and research into various patient care settings according to patient needs by collaborating with multi-professional groups; facilitating the development of hospital and department policies, nursing procedures, regulatory standards and guidelines; and conducting research. The role also includes functioning as a community resource on topics within scope of practice and providing nursing orientation, education, and ongoing competency verification All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.The clinical nurse specialist/educator is a role model for caring that honors the patient’s mind, body, and spirit.I. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in nursing required with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical area.Current RN license in the state of Kentucky or Kentucky work permit.Certification in relevant specialty area or in nursing professional development.ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department of assignment.Benefits Include:
