Position Description: RN - Clinical Nurse Department Pool - Labor & Delivery
The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of careOrganizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant othersIdentifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

Nursing Department Pool Commitment:
Minimum of 4 shifts per every 6 weeksOne Saturday and one Sunday per 6 week scheduleOne Summer and one Winter Holiday
Requirements:
Registered Nurse license At least 18 months RN acute care experience requiredAt least 1 year RN Labor & Delivery experienceAssociates Degree in NursingBLS

Status: Pool, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 6:45AM - 7:15PM
Shift: Shift 1
Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
Weekend Work: Occasional
On Call: Yes
