IU Health is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse - Quality Coordinator to support the Quality and Patient Safety at Bloomington Hospital. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday during the day, with the possibility of one remote workday each week. Develops, coordinates, implements and evaluates the continuous quality improvement activities for assigned populations. Works independently and leads specific work groups. Performs ongoing analysis of gaps in clinical care and barriers to care, aligning interventions with the strategic plan. Facilitates the organization's performance improvement process in collaboration with project team leader(s). Conducts training/education programs for the organization staff and physicians in performance improvement methodologies, data analysis, data processing, work simplification techniques, as well as other subjects related to performance improvement.

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) required. Masters degree in clinical healthcare or business preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Stroke and Ortho experience is preferred.  Certified Public Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred. 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred. Basic Life Support certification through the AHA., preferred Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Experience in report writing and graphical display preferred. Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Applications preferred.
