Clinical Nurse Specialist

Beacon Solutions Group, a subsidiary of the The Bonadio Group, is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist. This position will provide oversight and management of developed client workplans as well as management of ongoing client relations to meet client needs. This position will act as a field and project leader to other Beacon Clinical consultants on site to assure all work in cooperative effort to implement identified tasks.
 

Responsibilities

Direct oversight and management of project plans in relation to
assigned clients.

Direct oversight and management of Nursing personnel.

Development of policies and procedures as assigned.

Create and provide client education.

Knowledge of and oversite to MDS activities as assigned.

Assessment of client environment as it relates to long term care operational practice.

Facilitate team & client meetings.

Maintain BSG databases in relation to specific client assignments.

Update client  metric reporting in relation to specific client assignments.

Interact with software vendors as needed.

Keep abreast of industry developments in regards to compliance and regulatory standards.

Keep abreast of payer constraints and  Medicare/ Medicaid SNF billing requirements.

Perform audit based on task (compliance, Billing Integrity, NYS DOH Regulatory, clinical)

Manage and perform QIS and traditional mock surveys.

All other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Operations & Clinical Operations Coordinator.

Qualifications

Required:

A minimum of a bachelors degree

New York State RN or LPN licensure

At least three years of operational experience in a long term care clinical setting preferred.

At least two years of MDS experience desired but will train.

Act in accordance with compliance, security, privacy and HIPAA rules and regulations.

Must be willing to travel within New York State.  Daily travel up to 50% but varies greatly.  Overnight travel occasionally required.

Preferred

Active ANNAC, RAC, CT.

Active New York State RN license in good standing.

Wound Care Specialist certification


The salary for this position is between $75,000 to $95,000 and is commensurate with experience.

Hours of Operation:

Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Our summer hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday, based on Beacon Solutions client needs and project manager approval

We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
