Clinical Nurse Specialist - Pediatric

Serves as a consultant, educator, researcher, and clinical expert for the medical center and service area.  Demonstrates expertise in the care of age-specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics) according to clinical specialty, and participates in related continuing education.

Required qualifications: 

Master's Degree in Nursing. Coursework/Training and Advanced study in area of clinical specialization. Coursework in adult education principles. Training in performance improvement and research methodology. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association  Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License  California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire 1 year of experience in adult education, patient/family education. 3 years of recent experience in nursing specialty area.
