Clinical Nursing Recruiter

The Clinical Nursing Recruiter will work closely with hiring Managers for the recruitment of clinical staff within the Nursing and Ambulatory departments. This includes sourcing and phone screening of applicants and following through on the full recruitment cycle of new hires. This position will focus on positions under the Nursing/Ambulatory divisions and will also work with non-clinical positions.

Communicates effectively with internal and external customers with respect of differences in cultures, values, beliefs and ages, utilizing interpreters when needed. Develops and executes recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality healthcare professionals Utilizes various recruitment tools and methods to source and attract a pool of qualified and diverse candidates Ensures that all post-offer paperwork is completed including compliance with license and certification information. Documents processes and fosters good relationships with potential candidates and past applicants. Drives talent pipeline by researching, identifying, attracting and generating pools of qualified candidates by evaluating profiles and resumes. Helps strategize, drive, and execute the full candidate lifecycle including sourcing, conducting phone interviews and scheduling interviews with the Management team. Partners with management teams to develop, maintain and execute short and long term talent sourcing strategies for a variety of requisitions. Attends offsite job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline. Participates in weekly department meetings. Performs other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Must be able to reasonably make appropriate judgment in communications and actions with patients, physicians, other associates, outside agencies, and vendors. Strong PC skills/Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Previous experience utilizing an HRIS or Applicant Tracking System. Creative thinker with the ability to think outside of the box High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills. Must be a highly engaged individual and enthusiastic about Talent Acquisition. Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience (Type & Length):  2 years of Healthcare Recruitment experience

    2 years of Human Resources experience specially in Talent Acquisition.
