**Description:**
The Clinical Nursing Supervisor of our Progressive Care Unit supports the Manager, Nursing Staff, and Health Team by coordinating patient care, serving as a resource for clinical decision-making, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role encompasses clinical, educational, administrative, and research responsibilities while maintaining compliance with ethical, legal, and professional standards. This role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
+ Support RNs in care planning, advocacy, and decision-making.
+ Provide education and mentorship to staff, patients, and families.
+ Assist with staff management, resource allocation, and unit operations.
+ Participate in Quality Assurance initiatives and integrate nursing research into practice.
+ Perform direct patient care as needed and collaborate on staffing decisions.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Education:** Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).
+ **Licensure:** Active RN license in Indiana and BLS certification.
+ **Experience:** 3–5 years in a clinical leadership role.
