40Summary:
The Clinical Nutrition Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls all aspects of the clinical nutrition and formula room activities including program development, implementation, selection and management of program instructors, marketing, communication, advertisement, equipment selection and purchasing, and program and facility coordination. The Clinical Nutrition Manager plans, selects, implements, and evaluates current and new processes and systems. Actively participates and plans for QI projects for department and units, involving inter-and intra-departmental staff as needed. Develops and evaluates short and long-term departmental goals. Provides effective leadership in the areas of personal and professional conduct of clinical staff.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field is required.
5 years of experience in clinical nutrition or dietetic pediatric nutrition, including at least 2 years’ supervising, managing, or leading projects or teams.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
Heart Saver CPR certification required.
Current registration with the Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed by the State of Texas required.
