Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian with at least one year of lead or managerial experience as a Clinical Nutrition Manger to provide clinical oversight to the Nutrition Department at Altru Health System. This acute care facility is a stand-alone multi-specialty hospital located in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days!

The successful candidate will:
manage the clinical nutrition program within Altru Health System;supervise a team of 4 Dietitians and 5 Diet Clerks, both inpatient and outpatient;provide direct patient care ~20% of the time;collaborate with the implementation and management of Sodexo’s meal service program and menu management system;foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development; anddrive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects.Is this opportunity right for you? be a Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base;have proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development;demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills; andhave experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care.

Qualifications & RequirementsBasic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Basic Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
Basic Functional Experience: 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners
