Job Title: Clinical Packaging Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Packaging Technician to work under direct supervision performing routine operating tasks. The role involves supporting packaging equipment to run efficiently within required timelines, evaluating pharmaceutical products for safety and regulatory purposes, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

ResponsibilitiesPerform packaging activities required to support packaging equipment running efficiently.Evaluate pharmaceutical products for safety and regulatory purposes.Ensure GMP standards are upheld during production and packaging.Conduct visual inspections of products in 35-minute intervals.Monitor and retrieve required materials to ensure efficient packaging operations.Perform packaging line clean-up and assist with set-up activities per GMP compliance standards.Take a proactive approach to minimize equipment stoppage and idle time.Perform job responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and industry practices.Adhere to all Quality System policies and procedures relevant to the functional area.Understand the daily packaging schedule and monitor scrap levels and equipment performance, addressing or escalating issues as required.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Environmental, Health, and Safety standards.Communicate events that may affect the packaging schedule in a timely manner.Fulfill on-the-job training requirements.Work cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Facilities, Engineering, Materials Management, and other business units.Participate in all required and appropriate training.Ability to work shifts and overtime as required.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED.Attention to detail.Packaging experience (pharmaceutical, medical device, etc.).OR BS degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Biomedical.20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses and the ability to distinguish and identify colors.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with labeling, cleaning, aseptic cleaning, clean room operations, inspection, quality inspection, SOP, and GMP.Work Environment

The work environment includes two shifts:

1st shift is Tuesday-Friday (5:45am-4:15pm) AND

2nd shift is Monday-Thursday (3:45pm-2:15am)

The role requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards in a clean room setting, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various departments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.15 - $26.63
