CLINICAL PHARMACIST
Position Summary: Pharmacists at St. Joseph Hospital operate in both the clinical and central pharmacy settings. Pharmacists act as the daily managers in the pharmacy, ensuring all work is done in a concise, timely and accurate manner. Pharmacists are responsible for supervising and verifying all technical work. An emphasis is placed on working collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide services to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes. Pharmacists will ensure the safe and effective use of medication by providing medication order verification while assessing for optimal drug product selection, dosage regiment design, effective administration and drug therapy monitoring services. These tasks will be completed while supporting the mission, vision, and core values of the organization. Job Requirements: Education Graduate (Masters's Degree, JD or Ph.D. Licensure State of Maine Pharmacy License Other Skills Required: Excellent interpersonal communication skills required Must be a self-starter with the ability to multitask Ability to work in a fast-paced environment The starting rate for this position is: $51.86 Rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale.
