Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist - Industry City, Brooklyn.
In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for providing safe efficacious and cost effective pharmacotherapy to patients through Medication Use Evaluation projects provision of drug information and active participation in a patient care multidisciplinary team Provides clinical oversight to a designated dispensing area
Job Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as assignedResponsible for filling and checking medication ordersDispensing of medicationsProvides drug information and consultationDocuments and maintains pharmaceutical recordsDocuments and maintain accurate pharmacy inventoryProfessional communication with patients caregivers and other healthcare professionalsTrains and monitors Pharmacy Technicians and studentsEnsure patients receive accurate medications in a timely fashionNursing station reviewsSecurity of the PharmacyMaintains reliable attendance and punctuality record; adheres to departmental and organizational policiesClinical EvaluationAssist with maintaining pharmacy accreditations i e URAC ACHC TJCResponsible for meeting pharmacy metrics as determined by managementMaintains annual hospital competencies re aseptic technique infection control and hazardous waste HIPPA Fire Safety as applicableMinimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a NYS Pharmacy License and Registration Masters degree in Clinical Pharmacy/Pharmacotherapy required Pharmacy Practice residency or a minimum of four years of clinical pharmacy experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills.
Required Licenses: Pharmacist License-NYS
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree Advanced degree in pharmacy related field For specialty pharmacy out patient pharmacy experience is preferred For specialty pharmacy specialty pharmacy experience is preferred

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $173,158.90 - $173,158.90 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
