We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Pharmacy Informatics Manager like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Clinical Pharmacy Informatics Manager is a subject matter expert who provides “institutional” expertise and leadership in the delivery of medication management informatics services. This position will lead and/or participate in multiple projects for the CSG Clinical Informatics Team.​ **Major Responsibilities:** ​​ · Provides leadership and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in the area of pharmacy services and medication management for assigned projects. · Supports the medication management informatics strategy for consistency across all EHRs and EMRs within HCA and provides guidance for implementation, optimization and maintenance. · Ensures that projects are completed in a timely manner, with the appropriate standardization and best practices from the HCA Corporate Office and CSG Clinical Informatics and Pharmacy Services Teams. · Supports the needs of strategic organizational initiatives through pharmacy informatics solutions. · ​ Demonstrates skilled communication and is able to work effectively with leaders of all levels within the organization. · ​​ Position requires applying advanced knowledge and leading-edge skills in pharmacy informatics as part of technology implementation, optimization and maintenance projects and data optimization. · Researches and applies best practices to drive innovative solutions to develop functional excellence. · ​​​ Utilizes available data to inform decision making. · ​​​ Develops training materials and training delivery to end users related to medication management. Trains clinicians and others as needed.​​​ · Supports the identification and implementation of informatics best practices and standards for medication management. · ​ Responsible to identify, develop solutions to, and resolve medication safety issues in the Electronic Health Record. · ​ Assesses medication-use systems for vulnerabilities to medication errors and implements medication-error prevention strategies. · Responsible for setting and enforcing consistent approaches. · ​​​ Ensures a consistent approach, relating to medication management, is used throughout assigned projects and in accordance with existing standards. · Works as a collaborative team member in order to provide consistent patient care over multiple disciplines in the health information management system. · ​​ Operates with minimal supervision and is called on to coordinate with multiple teams and other projects as needed.​ · Prioritizes and manages multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and adapts to a rapidly changing environment.​ · Acts independently and creatively and is able to be a self-managing individual with the ability to accomplish goals with minimum direction.​ · Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.” **Education & Experience:** • Pharmacist Required. ​​Bachelor's degree​ required and ​​Doctorate degree​ preferred​ • ​​3+ years of experience in​ an informatics role required​ • ​​1+ year(s) of experience in​ leadership role preferred​ **HCA Healthcare (Corporate)** , based in Nashville, Tennessee, supports a variety of corporate roles from business operations to administrative positions.
