Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (CPS) will collaborate with primary care physicians and staff to provide coordinated, comprehensive, high quality care to PMG patients. The responsibilities of the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist predominantly fall into the following areas: (1) direct patient care, (2) population-based disease management, (3) preceptor/educator, (4) pharmacy support, (5)  research/projects.

Required qualifications:

PharmD from an accredited college or school of pharmacy.     Coursework/Training and Completion of a PGY-1 residency.     Coursework/Training and Completion of a specialty/PGY-2 residency in ambulatory care. Or equivalent educ/experience 3 years experience in primary care pharmacy (or related area) involving direct, collaborative patient care. Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacist License Or Upon hire: Washington Pharmacist License  Experience in writing, including research protocols, medical papers for publication, and educational pieces for patients and healthcare providers. Experience precepting students and/or residents. Experience in writing, including research protocols, medical papers for publication, and educational pieces for patients and healthcare providers.

Preferred qualifications:

Within 2 years of hire: BPS Board Certified Pharmacist
