The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist assists the pharmacy management team in the provision of clinical pharmacy services within a specialty area (e.g. critical care, oncology, medicine, surgery).
Performs all duties in a manner, which promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.

Required Qualifications:
PharmD: Pharmacy, or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy. California Pharmacist Registered upon hire. BPS certification by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in Pharmacotherapy and/or specific area of practice (where applicable and within 2 years of hire if not already certified). When eligible and where applicable, obtain a Board of Pharmacy Preceptor license. Basic Life Support-Provider (BLS) where applicable. ACLS/PALS/NRP where applicable. 2 years PGY2 residency training - or - PGY1 residency training and 2 years of experience within relevant practice setting - or - a minimum of 4 years of experience in specialty practice setting.Why Join Providence?
