The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. **It’s Work That Matters.** **Overview** P **urpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Clinical Practice Leader is a clinician with an expert knowledge base, complex decision-making skills, and clinical competencies. The Clinical Practice Leader has primary responsibility for providing clinical expertise and practice, education, and quality improvement in pediatric cardiac care across the inpatient environment. The Clinical Practice Leader will work in conjunction with the Clinical leadership team of the Heart Institute. The Clinical Practice Leader will actively participate with interprofessional teams in the development of policies and procedures, patient care protocols, and standards of practice and education. The Clinical Practice Leader will also demonstrate commitment to staff and patient and family-focused model of care. **Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** 3- 5 years of inpatient pediatric cardiac experience, teaching, and quality improvement experience in a healthcare environment. Pediatric experience is required. **Education/Licensure/Certifications:** Nursing: Master's degree required;. Current BLS & PALS Provider Card Required. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
