Responsibilities

CHI St. Alexius is looking for a Full Time Clinical Product Specialist to join the team!

To provide and coordinate high quality patient care in all areas of the Heart and Vascular Center upon the order of a licensed physician and in accordance with the mission and philosophy of CHI St. Alexius Health. These specialized radiologic procedures include a variety of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures requiring experience and advanced training. Duties of this position include management of inventory of specialized products throughout the Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab and Interventional Radiology Lab. Monitors and assures inventory levels meet demand tracking usage and inventory levels for specific specialty products. Performs chart audits on a day to day basis to ensure accuracy of all inventory and procedural charges in collaboration with Clinical Manager.

What You'll Do:
1. Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders and
requisitions as needed through the CommonSpirit Greenlight Process.
2. Monitors par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order to not affect
patient care.
3. Identifies excess inventory, outdated product or slow moving inventory.
4. Labels stock points and handles requests to change pars; maintains clean and orderly stock locations
5. Works in collaboration with reprocessing resources, leadership, implementation processes and manager as well
as product representatives. Acts as a liaison between clinical staff and supply chain for procedural areas.
6. Conducts annual inventory count to determine asset value and additional inventories as requested
7. Manages consigned inventory and processes bill-only’s as appropriate in conjunction with supply chain
8. Performs patient chart audits on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy of all product and procedural charges in
collaboration with Clinical Manager, Revenue and Integrity and Conifer.
9. Utilizes CPT coding for all procedures, staying current on the charging CPT coding system.


Qualifications
Graduate from a School of Radiological Technology AND member of the North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) within 480 hours of
employment and with re-certification as required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire.
