Clinical Program Coordinator
**Summary** **C2 ALASKA, LLC** Bethesda, MD The **Clinical Program Coordinator** supports clinical programs aimed at improving the function and quality of life for patients with traumatic extremity injuries, including limb loss, and provides a broad range of administrative and technical duties in support of the clinical and knowledge translation activities within the EACE CA Section. **Responsibilities** + Work with EACE staff members and WRNMMC staff to support ongoing implementation of digitized outcome measures and adoption by key medical specialties, training in the selected outcome measures and digital platform for all relevant clinicians, and data collection, analysis, and reporting to senior medical facility staff. + Provide advice to EACE Clinical Affairs and clinicians on standardized note templates, medical coding, and clinical training. + Facilitate coordination, case studies, central training location, simulation support for EACE clinical training and other knowledge translation activities (Limb Trauma Training, Federal Advanced Skills Training). + Provide annual review of the outcome measures program, + Annually update the DOD Amputation Care Outcome Measures Guidebook, and be responsible to expanding the Guidebook to include outcome measures for severe/critical limb trauma that falls short of amputation. + Facilitate the development and execution of monthly data collection and management processes and procedures. + Participate in data collection regarding approved outcome measures. + Participate in the development of data collection and data entry processes and the analysis to include the preparation of progress reports. + Review data collection processes with staff and oversees obtaining informed consent process as required. + Provides liaison and coordination between clinical staff and EACE Clinical Affairs and monitors the recording of clinical data, as required by established process. + Acquire, analyze, and evaluate clinical data gathered and assures accurate and complete documentation of patient care and program execution + Assists in preparing monthly reports. + Ensure all performance improvement and programmatic evaluations are reviewed at the Institutional Review Board level to confirm non-research in nature. + Oversee the development of audit tools and standardized audit report formats. + Assists with the development of clinical policies to maintain and enhance a robust quality assurance program. + Request, compile, and analyze data to develop monthly reports for EACE, WRNMMC, and Defense Health Agency leadership. + Facilitates preparation of historical reports and other progress reports, as requested. + Perform data management to analysis and clinical outcome measures (patient-reported and performance-based) to facilitate clinician adoption of novel systems and programs in support of performance improvement initiatives and programmatic evaluation + Support initial submission and sustainment of Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification in Amputation Care. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in a health care-related field. + Master's Degree preferred. + Minimum two (2) years of experience in a clinical role. + Minimum two (2) years of experience working with informatics, data analysis, and coordination. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Possess or able to obtain a Tier 1 (T1) Investigation. + Expert knowledge in whiteboard, video teleconferencing, learning management systems, and virtual classroom software. + Ability to perform education program support with such agencies as DHA, the DoD Services, universities, private businesses, government institutions, and professional societies. + Ability to utilize a substantial, practical understanding of the administrative procedures and requirements pertaining to clinical programs + Ability to utilize knowledge of and experience with electronic health records (AHLTA, Genesis, etc.), digital platforms (CarePoint, Clinical Outcomes Management Portal [CAMP], etc.) + Knowledge of trauma care + Knowledge of change leadership, medical terminology, clinical experience and quality management experience. + Ability to put on healthcare education programs from concept to the delivery of content and Continuing Medical Education credit. + Experience in outcome measures with a practical knowledge of outcome measure methods and terminology. + Ability to support clinicians generating and revising outcome measure protocols in accordance with specified DoD requirements. + Ability to ensure proper outcome measure protocols are followed and documentation is properly completed, filed, and tracked in accordance with appropriate DoD policies. + Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and securing PHI/PII. + Experience in the development and maintenance of a quality assurance program. + Experience in data analysis and data reporting. + Experience with conducting data quality checks. + Ability to present data analysis to various groups/individuals. + Experience in reading and interpreting medical records, medical diagnosis (ICD-9/10) and treatment (CPT) codes. + Experience in developing clinical education curriculum. + Experience in reviewing and critiquing presentations. **Physical Demands** (The physical demands described here are
