Clinical Project Manager
How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

Directs and maintains Projects across all Infection Prevention & Control services related to clinical practice, operations, quality, and patient safety. This is to include strategy, design, planning, procurement, development, and implementation.  Responsible for leading and facilitating significant infection prevention change initiatives intended to improve clinical quality, patient safety and/or patient experience in an efficient, effective and timely manner. Assists clinical and non-clinical personnel in assessing work and identifying areas/processes for improvement and executing improvement plans. 

What We Require:


Education: Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent experience required. Master's Degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years leadership experience required.  Minimum of four (4) years experience in Project Management or recent demonstrated project success of a Carilion multi-department leadership project.

Licensure/Certification: Certification in project management preferred. Ability to obtain certification within 18 months required.

Other: Must satisfactorily complete orientation processes.Demonstrated project management skills. Ability to build rapport and establish relationships through strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to work independently with minimal direction. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet computer software and data analysis.
