Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual, group, family, and practical counseling tailored to client needsComplete intake/screening and comprehensive assessment processes per standardsDetermine and document diagnoses based on comprehensive assessmentsDevelop individualized, evolving treatment plans aligned with regulatory standardsParticipate in clinical staffing/treatment meetings, providing case feedbackEnsure authorized services are approved and adequate information is provided promptlyDocument services accurately and within appropriate timeframesAssist clients through transition processes and complete final documentationComplete all mandatory training per regulatory and agency standardsRepresent the agency professionally within the communityMaintain positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and coworkersHandle crisis situations and coordinate emergency services as neededProvide professional/clinical supervision to individuals in trainingFacilitate group counseling, education, family therapy, and individual sessionsProvide training and guidance on clinical issues and evidence-based practicesOffer clinical consultation to treatment team members as necessaryDemonstrate commitment to the company's long-term and short-term goals

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related fieldLicensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)Willingness to become licensed in additional statesComfortable providing telehealth services (training provided)

Additional Qualifications:

Training and expertise in diagnostic criteria for substance use and mental health disordersThorough knowledge of caseload management, rehabilitation methods, and treatment principlesDetailed understanding of challenges faced by individuals with mental health/substance use disordersKnowledge of methods, modalities, legal requirements, and court procedures related to treatmentExpertise in supervisory and training techniques for mental health/substance use disorder settingsAbility to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within assigned programsProficient in reading, interpreting documents, and writing reportsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to establish effective relationships via telephone/telehealth and in-personAbility to follow directions and accept supervision
