**Overview** **Clinical Psychologist, Joint Base Lewis McChord, Tacoma, WA** Madigan Army Medical Center is seeking Clinical Psychologists for the Embedded Behavioral Health Clinics on Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM). This clinic model is an early intervention and treatment structure of Behavioral Health that promotes Soldier readiness. It provides multidisciplinary Behavioral Health care to Soldier in close proximity to their unit's work area and in close coordination with unit leaders. Duties include conducting psychological assessments of active duty service members with a wide variety of psychological disorders that affect intellectual, cognitive, behavioral or emotional function, providing individual and group therapy, psychoeducational sessions, and psychotherapeutic interventions. For more information, please visit the following link: https://www.usajobs.gov/Help/working-in-government/benefits/ **Responsibilities** + Screen and interview patients, and perform psychological and bio-psychosocial evaluations, using expert knowledge of general and specific concepts, principles, procedures, and practices relating to clinical psychology. + Provide timely and succinct feedback to PCMs regarding consultations findings and recommendations. + Use objective and measurable outcomes to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments if appropriate for increased compliance and efficacy. + Develop, teach, and provide oversight for classes that promote education and skill-building to enhance psychological and physical health, and promote behavioral change related to improved health status. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). **Selective Placement Factor:** This position requires a current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.
