We’recurrently seeking a Clinical Psychologist to fill an opening with acorrectional facility in Southern California.
Details –
Competitive Pay Location – South of San Diego, CA 2-3 Month Contract Full-time schedule 5×8 Schedule M-F May include occasional weekend coverage Start Date – End of September or early October 2024 Credentialing estimate – 2-3 weeks Malpractice coverage provided Clinical Psychology. General clinical psychology within a correctional setting. Psychological screenings and assessments based on review of available records, and clinical interviews with inmates. Confers with other clinical staff, e.g., psychiatrists, mental health service providers, physicians, nurses, social workers, in order to gather and provide information concerning patient psychological problems, to ensure treatment activities are well integrated, and patient care follow-through. Treatment to inmates by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
Required Qualifications –
Active/Unrestricted CA Licensure Doctoral degree in Psychology 2 years of relevant experience ICE or corrections experience preferred BLS/ACLS CertificationWhy Work with Amergis –
