Clinical Psychologist PhD

Position Summary:  The Clinical Psychologist will provide clinical, educational, and supervisory services at McLaren Flint.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1.     Collaborate with the Medical Director(s) and Director of Behavioral Health for development and implementation of the behavioral health clinical service line.

2.     Maintain a clinical case load providing psychological services at the McLaren Flint Outpatient Behavioral Health services.

3.     Assists with clinical supervision of behavioral health therapy staff at Outpatient, Partial Hospital, and Inpatient Behavioral Health services.

4.     Provides coverage for group psychotherapy, conjoint family therapy, and other appropriate clinical services at the Partial Hospital and Inpatient Behavioral Health services when necessary.

5.     Provide supervisory responsibilities for Practicum Students.

6.     Assist the Medical Director(s) and Director of Behavioral Health in the promotion, education, and implementation of scholarly activity.

7.     Participate in the Consultation-Liaison service in the medical center.

8.     Provide on-call services as designated by Director, Behavioral Health.

9.     Participate in departmental, community and hospital committees as appointed.

10.  Other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited program Licensed to practice psychology in the State of Michigan (minimum TLLP)

Preferred: 

Full licensure to practice psychology in the State of Michigan 5 years experience in behavioral health field 2 years experience working in a hospital setting Additional Information Schedule: Part-time Requisition ID: 24007000 Daily Work Times: variable Hours Per Pay Period: 16 On Call: Yes Weekends: No
