The University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), a leading academic institution, seeks outstanding candidates to join the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) in the Clinician-Educator-Scholar Pathway. The PCCM division comprises 42 full-time faculty members with a wide range of clinical expertise across the pulmonary and critical care spectrum. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional clinical care, contribute to academic research, and participate in the education and mentorship of trainees in an intellectually stimulating environment. Clinical practice opportunities include providing high-quality, patient-centered care in pulmonary and critical care medicine in the medical intensive care units, pulmonary consultation services, and outpatient pulmonary clinics and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and endobronchial ultrasound, as required. Opportunities for basic, clinical, and translational research on lung diseases, including pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, sepsis, asthma, environmental pollutants, and lung cancer screening.
