**39693BR** **Extended Job Title:** Clinical Research Coor **Org Level 1:** Texas Tech Unv Hlth Sci Ctr El Paso **Position Description:** Development of the Adopt a Family project from the ground up by starting and coordinating meetings to complete the grant request and ensure ongoing funding. Coordinates daily operations of clinical research studies in the Department of Pediatrics. This includes but is not limited to data management of all clinical research activities related to the Adopt a Family project in the Department of Pediatrics. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include training new employees, assisting with planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. Approximately 5-20% travel is required. **Requisition ID:** 39693BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Coordinate activities with pediatric care organizations to re-start the Consortium for children to include enrolling families in the project. This includes collecting, managing and presenting data gathered from the Adopt a Family project. + Coordinate efforts to support the faculty and particularly to develop programs and research. + Coordinate efforts working with Border programs in Child physical and sexual abuse through research and work with the ACCEP(Advocacy Center for children of El Paso) Maybe also coordinate with the SANE program at EPCH. + Work with the El Paso Pediatric Society and faculty and residents in the development of projects to support advocacy for children. + Work and strengthen interactions with the Schools Districts (policy development , educational programs and report of health related issues and incidents). + Development of the Adopt a Family project from the ground up by starting and coordinating meetings to be able to complete the grant request. + Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes. + Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork).
