Clinical Research Coordinator
Clinical Research Coordinator Job Description: The Clinical Research Coordinator will assist an Investigator, Research Associate, or Project Manager with operationalizing tasks associated with implementing a research study. This includes a variety of tasks related to recruitment, data collection, data management, and reporting of results. Responsibilities: + Recruits and consents research participants. + Conducts telephone or in-person interviews with participants, including screening for eligibility. + Performs follow-up (by telephone, e-mail, and/or mail) with study participants. + Prepares, mails, and processes questionnaires and other study correspondence. + Assists in tracking study participants using MS Excel. + Keeps accurate and detailed records and files of work. + Reviews, edits, cleans, and enters participant data into a database. + May assist with literature reviews for proposal submissions and manuscript preparation. + Manages bookkeeping related to study budgets (ordering supplies, requesting checks for payment & participant incentives). + Performs miscellaneous administrative tasks Qualifications: + BS/BA in life sciences or educational and/or relevant work experience in a clinical environment or medical setting + Minimum 2 years in a clinical research coordinator role + Certification of CCRC or CCRP preferred + Experience with EDC and EMR systems Additional information: Location: Statesville, NC Duration: 13 month contract Hourly pay range: $30-40 per hour Start date: ASAP Schedule: Onsite 40 hours (Monday-Friday) About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
