The Clinical Research Coordinator III coordinates all aspects of clinical research trials except those that require medical expertise or licensure. The role also participates in team development activities such as training, quality assurance, and procedures and tools creation.
The Clinical Research Coordinator III is a senior coordinator role on the Fred Hutch Community Site Research Team and is an integral part of our rapidly expanding clinical trial team focused on the advancement of mission-critical clinical trial programs in the community. The position is responsible for managing study coordination activities for Oncology treatment trials, non-treatment trials, and specimen collection protocols. The incumbent will report to the Manager of Clinical Research Operations within the Fred Hutch central clinical trials office, Clinical Research Support (CRS). The Clinical Research Coordinator III will be based at the Fred Hutch at Overlake campus in Bellevue, WA.

ResponsibilitiesJob Duties:
Independently manages significant and key aspects of a large/complex clinical trial or all aspects of one or more small trialsProvides day-to-day coordination of oncology clinical trials within Fred Hutch and UW clinic setting including, screening patients for protocol eligibility, ensuring informed consent has been properly obtained, enrolling subjects, collecting data, and communicating with clinic staffInterfaces with clinic providers and staff, ancillary services, and research staff regarding protocol implementation issuesDetermines effective strategies for promoting/recruiting research participants and retaining in long term clinical trialsPeriodically audits operations and provides leadership in identifying and implementing corrective actions/processesInterfaces with study sponsors, monitors and reports SAEs; resolves study queriesTrains and provides guidance to less experienced staff. The annual base salary range for this position is from $75,151 to $112,673, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
