Clinical Research Coverage Analyst
Description Clinical Research Coverage Analyst Location: UCHealth Lowry Admin, US: CO: Denver Department: UCHlth Research Administration FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $29.54 - $44.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: This is a full-time (40 hrs/wk) position on UCHealth's Research Administration team based in Denver, Colorado. This is a 100% remote position. Eligible out-of-state candidates may be considered for this position. Facilitates review and approval of requested clinical research services and ensures billing compliance. Responsibilities: • Conducts facility review of submitted studies and evaluate protocols for required clinical services. • Coordinates with the required clinicians/clinical departments. • Conducts review of research studies to determine if they are qualified clinical trials pursuant to Medicare's National Coverage Determination 310.1. • Creates billing plan, including Medicare Coverage Analysis documentation, in alignment with the Clinical Trial Agreement, budget, and informed consent pursuant to regulations for coverage determinations. Coordinates revision of approval documents per the clarifications from study team. • Review of first patient enrollment in clinical trials to ensure quality and accuracy of Medicare Coverage Analysis documentation. Requirements: • Associate's degree in a health or science related field • 2 years of relevant experience Preferred: • Bachelor's degree • Human Subjects Clinical Research billing, finance, regulatory, and/or coordinator experience • Experience with Clinical Trials Management System - OnCore We improve lives.
