Responsibilities:
Develop, refine and implement SAS/SPSS/R programs to process, clean and manipulate large datasets to create analysis and archival datasets. serve primarily as a data manager and programmer. Duties include developing and implementing SAS programs to process and manipulate large datasets, Create cross-sectional and longitudinal analytic datasets including coding of complex variables, preparation of study reports, preparation of de-identified datasets for permanent archive, and providing data programming and analytic support to senior analysts on a range of research projects. Assist in carrying out a range of data and related tasks pertaining to study operations. Specific tasks may include form design, the generation of quarterly reports and/or preliminary data analysis in support of senior analysts Documentation: Will create and maintain data collection form library, codebooks for the frozen datasets, and documentation for archival datasets. Requirements: Masters Degree, data management skills, statistical skills, and SAS programming skills are required. Clinmicle research or healthcare data managment skills prior programming experience in SAS or a similar software/language. Must have the ability to work with existing programs, and where necessary to develop new programs. Strong attention to detail is required. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in Data Management or Analytic capacity Requires an understanding of research and its components. Should have the ability to work effectively on several projects concurrently
