Job Title: Patient Safety Nurse
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Safety Nurse to ensure compliance with FDA, AATB, international, and state regulations during the second level quality review of all tissue donor files. The role involves maintaining the safety of donated human tissue and assessing the impact of information received after initial donor release.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain compliance with FDA, AATB, international, and state regulations during the second level quality review of all tissue donor files.Ensure the safety of donated human tissue submitted to the organization.Triage and review information received after initial donor release to assess the impact on donor suitability and distributed products.Trigger escalation procedures and evaluate for regulatory action when necessary.Essential Skills5 years of current experience as a Registered Nurse within Acute Care (ER, Surgical), Critical Care (ICU), Blood Banking, Donor, or Transplant.Active Registered Nursing (RN) License.RN Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree (BSN).Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience with FDA/device/pharma regulations is a plus.Work Environment

This position is on-site, with working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
