Clinical Research Supervisor

Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Responsible for coordinating the daily work of the research study team. Coordinates research study communication and workflow to ensure efficiency of study execution. Assists with the development and implementation of education and training for staff and ensuring high quality work amongst research study team. Will conduct research study visits with participants. Assists leadership in overall research team management. **What you will do** + In collaboration with research department leadership, is accountable for the operations and coordination of day-to-day activities of staff involved in the care of research participants, including reviewing staffing levels and tasks. Duties are performed in such a manner as to ensure the research clinic operates in an efficient manner. + Assists with the development of current and future goals for the research team, including the identification and implementation of change initiatives. Implements changes and develops communication plans that ensure understanding of the change. + Collects data, prepares reports, analyzes statistics, and answers correspondence. Identifies and reviews operational problems and brings to the attention of management team. + Performs study tasks, including direct patient interaction, and ensures completion of various projects being conducted by research study team. Maintains a high level of competency and projects high standards of service expectations for personnel within the department. Ensures clinic compliance with all regulatory rules. + Ensures that open, professional communication is maintained with research study team on a daily basis. + May coordinate student intern experience. + Creates and fosters a positive environment for all research study staff. Handles crisis situations and unanticipated events in a professional manner. + Fosters relationships with other departments as necessary for clinic operations and center growth. + Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
