In this role, you will collaborate with oncology staff to plan, implement, support, and evaluate nursing care for patients within the department.
To be successful in this role, you will need to work well independently and with others to provide patient and family centered care. Your responsibilities may include communicating and collaborating with team members to ensure optimum patient care, supporting patient safety initiatives in the department, collaborating develop, implement and evaluate plans of care and triaging telephone communications. In this role, you will assist department team members with clinical skills, and actively support nursing practice, patient advocacy, staff education, and policies/procedures to achieve an environment of excellence in clinical quality, safety, service and value. You will provide age appropriate and culturally sensitive care to patients and families. You will maintain necessary professional competencies by attending educational programs, participating in professional organizations, subscribing to the reading professional journals or other appropriate activities.

Full-time | 72-80 hours every 2 weeks Monday-Friday | 8am-4:30pm No weekends or holidays!Pay and Benefits

Graduate from a nursing program required RN MN Licensure required, BSN required within 3 years upon hire Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation National Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred, required within 6 months of hire. Current ONS provider card must be maintained at all times.
