Responsible to provide education to patients related to cancer process, side effect management and pain control. Implement clinical research studies sponsored by the National Cancer Institute, or approved industry studies. Facilitate patient entry on the studies for cancer treatment and/or prevention. This will include taking training on trials that this location qualifies for, reviewing patients for qualified candidates, discuss participation with patients, and follow up with patients that are taking part it trials. Works in collaboration with MNCCTN and MNCORC.

Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing required. RN MN Licensure required Minimum of 3 years of related experience in medical oncology or clinical research preferred. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation National Certification in a Nursing Specialty preferred National certification in clinical research preferred
