The Clinical Risk and Safety team partner with service line operational leaders to support caregivers and process improvement.
**Job Description**
The position of Clinical Risk and Safety Manager at Intermountain Health will lead local Community Clinics, Hospitals, Specialties, and Homecare/Hospice for clinical risk management and patient safety services. This includes identifying and responding to clinical concerns resulting in or potentially resulting in patient harm. Facilitate early investigation of concerns, and support process improvement specific to Serious Safety Events, Reportable Events, and Sentinel Events. Provides support for the development of a culture of high reliability and the measurement of care, identifying opportunities and executing on strategies for performance improvement in the following areas:
+ Outcomes - highly reliable processes, delivering exceptional outcomes and / or optimal health
+ Safety - Zero Harm to patients and caregivers driven through a culture of high reliability, continuous improvement and leadership
+ Patient Experience - relationship-centered care grounded in empathy, dignity, respect and collaboration

This is an exempt position, Monday through Friday and 40 hours per week. The position is hybrid with remote work being the majority and being able to go into a Front Range hospital when needed. There is no office space designated, only hoteling space as needed.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree required. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution and will be verified.
+ 3 years Clinical Experience
+ Customer/Patient Relations experience
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to teach and train peers and colleagues.
+ Experience and demonstrated competence in solving problems and liaising between multiple stakeholders.
+ Proficient in use of software such as Word and Excel in order to generate documents and data reports.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ CPPS certification (Certified Professional in Patient Safety) or CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management)

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$43.67 - $67.41
