Job Scope: We are seeking a Sales Specialist who can deliver designated territory Sales targets and other related Key Performance Indicator targets (KPI) through sales process, effective account management, introduction, delivery, implementation and support of commercially viable customer offerings, by highlighting and selling the clinical benefits of Vantive products and services and their potential to improve patient outcomes.
In this role, you will develop and enhance relationships with Nephrologists, Intensivists, Nurses, other Key Stakeholders, and internal customers to create beneficial outcomes for Vantive whilst maintaining individual and corporate integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivery of Sales and other KPI targets (as communicated) for the Haemodialysis portfolio within your defined geographical territory. Actively prospecting, planning, implementing, closing and evaluating sales opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle.
Managing accounts within the allocated territory to maximize sales by identifying and pursuing growth opportunities, ensuring delivery of both commercially viable offerings and unrivalled customer service.
Support the education/training requirements of Health Care Professionals. Plan, prepare, implement and evaluate training sessions in formal, informal, face-to-face, and virtual formats, to promote capability and confidence in the use of Vantive products. Ensure all training sessions are in line with the overall territory and Haemodialysis strategies.
Plan, prepare, conduct and evaluate equipment and product trials and installations to facilitate and drive the sales process / customer acceptance. Ensure alignment with Vantive / industry policies, including the most efficient use of resources, alignment with the business plan and optimise the potential for success.
Provide first-line phone and/or on site clinical / technical support / troubleshooting for equipment and products on an ad hoc basis, to promote capability and confidence in the use of Vantive products and equipment.
Plan, prepare, promote, attend and deliver workshops, seminars and conferences as required.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the territory through direct customer contact, attendance of industry forums and similar, and feed information back to the wider team utilising the CRM tool.
Actively and cross-functionally plan and manage accounts in the designated territory to ensure delivery of all committed KPIs and contractual requirements.
Maintain effective team performance through developing working relationships with peers and colleagues within the wider Vantive teams (Peritoneal Dialysis / Acute Therapies). Work cross functionally and actively encourage cross-functional participation and cooperation to achieve business goals.
Ensure all activities are reported accurately and in a timely manner into our customer relationship management program.
Execute sales strategies, sales plans and objectives, including marketing and sales programs within the defined territory in consultation with the Sales Management Team.
Defines the overall territory plan in line with the Business Plan.
Implement the territory plan in day-to-day activities within the designated territory.
Travel and assistance within other territories within Australia and New Zealand may be required from time to time.
Out of hours, weekend and public holiday travel and/or work may be required from time to time.
Key Requirements of the role include:
Appropriate tertiary qualification, preferably in the field of nursing, science or technology
Sales and/or marketing qualifications, at least 5 years relevant technical and/or clinical experience.
Current drivers’ license
At least five years relevant technical and/or clinical experience
Experience in Renal therapies, ideally Haemodialysis
Recent education and/or training experience
Experience with CRM and/or Sales Force Automation tools
Proven strong customer focus and a passion for delivering customer satisfaction
Knowledge / ability to interpret clinical papers
Well-developed presentation skills
Effective communication skills - proven strong communication, relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills
Ability with basic computing skills (Word, PPT and Excel)
Ability to work on your own with a drive and motivation to succeed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills geared toward relationship building.
