Our Team:

We are looking for a Clinical Services Trainer to join our Clinical Services team who is passionate about ECG interpretation and helping cardiac patients through our innovative remote patient monitoring body sensor technologies. The right individual will join a multi-faceted and fast-paced environment focused on high quality patient care. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, developing and implementing training curriculums for new employees as well as continuing education and development initiatives for Clinical Services staff members of all tenures and experience levels.

Your Role:
• In collaboration with other Clinical Services Trainers, execute training courses for newly hired Analysis Technicians for ECG Interpretation and proprietary software platforms for the analysis of patient cardiac data.
• Manage the successful transition of newly hired Analysis Technicians from training courses to on-the-job training under their designated Electrophysiology Mentor (EPM).
• Execute various testing and assessments for Analysis Technicians eligible for posting privileges or promotions and communicate results.
• Perform proctored virtual and in-person testing of external candidates for hire to ensure required ECG analysis and clinical qualifications are met for job description.
• Under direction of the Senior Manager of Clinical Quality, develop, modify, and implement training materials and curriculums for clinical training and continuing education initiatives within the department.
• Communicate frequently with Clinical Services Managers and Electrophysiology Mentors when additional training or coaching is needed for their technician team members.
• In collaboration with Clinical Services Managers, assist in implementing training-based corrective action initiatives for chronically underperforming team members and provide detailed documentation of coaching efforts performed.
• When business needs require, assist Electrophysiology Mentors with monitoring and participating in team group chats to provide advice, feedback, and direct assistance regarding difficult ECG interpretations, software use, internal procedures, and following notification criteria standards.
• Provide support to Clinical Services staff by fielding requests for reviewing and confirming advanced arrhythmias and/or cardiac events that meet notification criteria.

• When business needs require, assist Internal Review Technician team with proactively reviewing completed CAM reports and providing detailed feedback to Analysis Technicians according to established reporting standards.
• Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements including but not limited to a CRAT or CCT certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

What Your Bring:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CRAT or CCT certification.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a Holter, Event, or Telemetry technician with in-depth knowledge and skill of advanced ECG interpretation.
• Detailed and advanced knowledge of Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and related Physiology as it applies to cardiac monitoring and ECG reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough attention-to-detail and documentation skills.
• Great time management and ability to multi-task and/or prioritize workflow.
• Excellent PC proficiency level.
• Must be able to balance team/individual responsibilities and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Phenomenal work ethic and desire to provide high quality outcomes (reports) to our customers and patients.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Some college course work or ECG certification preferred.
• Prior experience in a formal training setting preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in expert ECG interpretation preferred.
• Prior experience with Nemon or LX Analysis software preferred.
• Prior knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology and Electrophysiology preferred.


We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $76,000.00 to $114,000.00. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary rate may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
