Novant Health is seeking a Clinical Services Navigator. The classical hematology/hemophilia Clinical Services Navigator is accountable to ensure that all patients who are being evaluated and managed for hemophilia and other bleeding disorders receive comprehensive, coordinated care in an organized, consistent, efficient, and high-quality manner.  The role will help to shape the development and evolution of the Novant Health (adult) Center for Bleeding Disorders, serving to enhance its overall effectiveness, productivity, and quality.

 

Participates in the development and implementation of related clinical programs and procedures.  Participates in continuous process improvement.  Coordinates the transition of patients from the St. Jude’s affiliate pediatric hemophilia treatment center into the adult program, while serving as a clinical and educational consultant to the nursing staff, medical staff, management, and other members of the health care team regarding the management of Hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.

 

Demonstrates advanced and diverse clinical knowledge and skills in the capacity of clinician (within their scope of practice) – educator, researcher, collaborator, and patient advocate to provide both direct and indirect patient care in a semi-autonomous, self-directed role in accordance with professional practice standards and clinical expertise.

Qualifications Education:  Bachelor's degree, preferred. RN, required. Experience: Three to five years of nursing experience, required. Two years of experience in care of targeted patient population; experience in a broad range of clinical situations or settings, preferred.Licensure/Certification: Current nursing license in appropriate state, required.Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
